Corporate meltdown leaves renters in limbo March 24, 2009
It is sad when people get run over and railroaded. The emotional toll spills over into their finances, and leaves people mentally on the down side of things. Everyday people are losing jobs, cars, homes, valuables. No doubt this has left many with the feelings of no self worth, embarrassed, and simply lost. Add on top of that all the negativity in the news, day in and day out, and the stench is like the top of a trash can festering.
When I was a kid, I got to spend a summer with my grandparents. I adored my grandmother, she was simply perfect. One day she had a chore for us, clean out the trash cans. Now, imagine what a trash can in June in Phoenix, Az., must have smelled like it was not nice! But, we turned it on its side and we used a hose and sprayed it inside and out. We got all the “big stuff” out first. It came off pretty easy and it also made the next step much easier. We got out the scrub brush (with a long handle) and some soapy water and scrubbed it clean. When we set it upright, amazingly it didn’t smell anymore.
Life right now is pretty much like cleaning out that trash can. Do you think your life is full of nasty problems that can’t be cleaned? Good news; Home sales are up. March 24, 2009
The February numbers are out and home sales have increased by 5.1%. “Economists said sales, while still at levels not seen since 1997, may finally be coming back to life after declining sharply following the stock market plunge last autumn.” This is the biggest jump since back in July 2003.
First time home buyers are being credited with half of this increase. The word is getting out there and people are understanding that the most important opportunity of their lifetime is now.

Why use a professional?
Ethics is not just a word to throw around like a frisbee. True professionals are ethical, they take their role in society very seriously. For me personally, I am dedicated and strive daily to do the best job I can for the clients I represent. Thankfully, I work somewhere that I am proud of the people I work with. Every time we have a meeting together, the focus is not about “sales.” We often are focused on bettering ourselves and the services we provide. Our primary goal (least in the office I am in have real discussions and goal setting in the area of taking care of our clients.
These are serious times no doubt. Never has need for Joe Q consumer to have ethical real estate professionals to choose from. Correctly choosing who you can trust and confide in is paramount today. Sadly, there are some foxes in the hen houses right now. It angers me to know that while people are needing sound and real advice right now, are getting scammed right and left. Isn’t that how we got in this mess in the first place? This needs to stop, and stop right now!
If you get a call from someone out of the blue offering to “fix” all your problems, BEWARE! Then be smart and call your Realtor, we are here to assist you. Your Realtor is not a door opener, they are trained skilled professionals with a vast amount of information. You feel lost alone in todays market, give me a call and I will do what I can to help. Bringing the power of social networking to your Palm!! March 10, 2009
Attended a very exciting class for me this morning. We discussed technology and how more specific social networking. How social networking is changing how we live and interact. Not to mention the power it brings to the individual and business.
I use a blackberry storm and I love my phone. The new facebook app for the blackberry is almost out and one thing it is bringing is how we can access facebook and bring our facebook information into our computers and mobile devices.
